so not sure if most know this but there are two types of the above lights both have the same product number but power plug is different anyone know is the lights in the sticks are the same yellowish or are they dead white?

There are two versions of the dioder lights. IKEA recently changed them to the warm white (3000 Kelvin). Previously they were cool white (7000 Kelvin). A lot of people are complaining because their current set up has the original cool white bulbs and now they are no longer available. But what I don't know is if the outlet adapter shape is a clue to which version you have. Maybe you got an old stock and new stock together. Plug it in and try. Curious to know.
