I heard Bonen No Xamdou is from the same creator of Eureka 7, eureka 7 is so much superior than Xamdou imo. Hikebane Hime could be interesting, but i thought the first episode was kinda boring. nothing really interesting in these shows other than Casshen Sins for me.
Yeah a number of the people that were on Eureka 7 are on Bonen No Xamdou. I like the show, I find the plot and characters interesting. I watched the raws for Hyako and ToraDora and liked what I saw, and have Casshen Sins waiting in the pile, was it any good?

Re: The Anime Thread!

Interesting find at Starstruck today as Gmfan101 and I were at Square One today, picked up the complete Golden Boy series as the second disk of my original ADV release had cracked, and also picked up the complete Giant Robo The Animation The Day The Earth Stood Still set as well

Re: The Anime Thread!

Watched the subs for Toradora and Casshern Sins. Toradora was really funny so I found the comedy show for this season, and Casshern Sins was interesting enough to make me want to see the next episode. I'm still waiting on subs for HYAKKO and Shikabane Hime Aka. And theres still more new shows this week.

Oh yeah and checked out Linebarrels of Iron on Crunchyroll; I didn't fully enjoy it, the characters looked a little weird and the main protagonist is the type of character I hate in this style of show.

i think there is a live movie of casshern
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0405821/
the plot suppose to be very very complicated.

Toradora has some funny parts, i think you are going to enjoy hyaako. Toradora just does not match my taste, comedy wise i really enjoyed minamikem, seto no hayame.

After watching Eureka 7, I felt a lot mecha lack of plot or character development. so most of the time i just watch them for the action.

I guess i am tired of vampire zombie crap, so Shikabane Hime Aka was not very interesting to me, i will watch another few episode b4 i drop it.
I watch Chinese Sub, so I get everything when it first came out, the unpopular ones dies down after 2-3 weeks, then i can just pick what is there left and what i like.

PS: watching Ga-Rei Zero, hi-tech exorcist... pretty xool so far...

Re: The Anime Thread!

I saw the first raw for Kemeko Deluxe, an adaptation of a manga (unsurprisingly) about a space lady who comes down to fight to protect some kid...

...and who does so while controlling a chubby little robot fighter with a temper all its own!

The link has clips of the OP and ED - which are a bit meh, to be honest...

...as well as the insane fight between Kemeko (the chibi robot) and a giant rice cooker with a hand coming out if it!

Yeah.

I dunno yet who, if anyone, will be subbing it, though.
