Hasbro (well, John Warden) had said they were aware of the first batch issue with the legs at SDCC.
Toy Dojo has also out up a video showing that the legs don't need to be taken apart.

It's gone now. It sold out. Then the 3rd party seller one became the only one at $281 or something like that. I should've pulled the trigger myself on it lol
