Re: Post your Transformers hauls - 2011 edition

A haul from my holidays last week. First off got the Ark while in Buffalo at a Toys R Us for $28 U.S (SWEET), then back in Canada scored a DOTM Hatchet at Walmart and last but not least "my precious" Autobot and Decepticon rings from the cupcakes pictured here from a Foodland in Niagara Falls.

So we're walking through the bakery section and my BBGF spotted this shinny Autobot Ring in the chocolate cupcake package pictured here and I was super excited like I had never been before over Transformer rings considering these are the first time I saw these in a bakery section anywhere. So we went on "the hunt for the Decepticon" one I found the Decepticon ring in another package under the sticker label that was vanilla (hate when that happens), I didn't want to buy both packages at $4.99 a pop to get the rings cause that's a lot of cupcakes for two of us to eat. So we went to the bakery counter to see if they had anymore rings to swap with one of the others in one of the packages. No luck there, so we had the lady just swap rings with the packages we had, which she made look like something she wasn't suppose to do but she didn't object either. But anyway I have these two cool looking rings now that I can fit on each pinky finger

Got the DOTM Cyberverse Optimus Prime Base thing. He's so cute.

And from Value Village, Transformers Crossovers Ironman (Car)

Re: Post your Transformers hauls - 2011 edition

Today I was walking through the mall and went into TRU. I was looking at the new MP Rodimus and to be honest with you. I don't like it. The paint on him looks so cheap that I just put it back down after a good look over. Not impressed by Hasbro edition. I then went into Zellars and found a couple things. I got a DOTM Topspin and Roadbuster. I also picked up a few liquidated Prime puzzles.

I'm still building him. Once I finish him I plan to take him apart and glue parts that dont move together for a better hold. IMO it was worth it though things like the fingers are a bit annoying. Again, something I can fix but since I can do it the price for the figure is worth it. Probably work on it sometime this weekend.
