I work for Canada Post ...the wage is not the reason we go on strike in fact the wage raise is the only good thing in the offer and I would gladly exchange that for any of the cuts in the various other advantages we have as my health is a lot more important than money...sorry for hijacking the thread

Thank you for the kind words. It's nice when you, our faithful customers and fans, are appreciative when we are trying to walk the extra mile when such crisis arise.

Still, based on the total bill provided by UPS only for today, it seems obvious to me that even with our business' rebate with them, we will have to find another alternative if CP strike occurs. UPS rates are atrociously high. We can bite the bullet for a few days but I don't see our store been able to support this service on an extended period of time.

I will have to find a solution that is fair to everyone.

Mario, I'm with Crimbot on that idea. Would it be feasible for you to ask customers (at least from this site) if they would be willing to put off shipment until this gets resolved?

I have a few items on pre order an totally fine with waiting until the CP issue is resolved, too. You guys do a great job and I don't being a little more patient if it eases things on your end.
