Masterpiece Jetfire

Take a 1/48 scale Yamato Valkyrie, sculpt a head from an Alt Hound, use parts from the G1 and Classics Jetfire, prime and paint with Testors Model Master paints, add washes and bake and what do you get? Well, if you REALLY bake it you get a head rush and possibly cancer. If your being metaphorical, you get a Masterpiece Jetfire figure. He stands 10 inches tall and a full foot when wearing his armor. The helmet is removeable with moveable antennae and also stores in jet mode under the canopy.

To be sacrificed to the gods of eBay later today. Enjoy!

Re: Masterpiece Jetfire

mr.x23, you bake some gooood cookies

he looks sweet,i never would have known it was an alt hound head under there if you didn't tell me.
i love the shading/weathering effects,bang on!!
the only thing that seems to be missing is the leg armor, but i can totally understand the headache it would have been trying to make them for this yamato mold.

can you make pics with other classics bots just to show his scale/height with them?

again,nice job

Re: Masterpiece Jetfire

Great idea using the Valkyrie, I have been trying to get together parts for my G1 Skyfire to do a custom but having a heck of a time finding them.

Very inventive use of parts and good paint work. My hat goes off to you.
