Re: Post your TFcon 2012 Hauls!

Holy crap people bought some awesome stuff.

It was such a great event...honestly the social vibe was a bigger highlight for me than the toys. Such a great community. So great to meet everyone and connect with old friends.

Okay, here's the HAUL-AGE, now OWN-AGE

Botcon Heroes of Cybertron Set (more on that in a bit ), Titanium Hot Spot and Thrust, G2 Air Raid, Gobots Block Head, Mr. Moto and Gunnyr, Super-Gobot Spy Eye, Diaclone driver (missing magnet), Con exclusives (natch), G2 Devy (complete combined mode, no mini-weapons), Complete minty G1 Grotesque (OMG finally finished my 1986 collection), Wildfly shell, and the Uber-cool Allicon and IT Alpha Trion.

As you can see, the Botcon set was all crumbly. 3 hours and a HUGE amount of patience later, and we have this 'before and after' shot:

BEFORE / AFTER

Believe it or not, the "Spy Eye" was one of my favorite finds. He had a broken wing and was missing a tailfin, but I had another broken one to bash the two together to make a great representation of the original. Check it:

Honestly the robot mode on this guy is EPIC!

Thanks again everyone...what a great show.

Re: Post your TFcon 2012 Hauls!

- $10 in buttons from a dealer who was selling those MUG lookalikes.

- Takara Knockout (HE LOOKS WAY BETTER THEN THE US OMG.)
- Universe Drift, Generations Ironhide (DOTM ver.), Generations Kup.
- Animated Rodimus

I was really looking for new hardcovers of the IDW Collections and the remastered Transformers Movie SIGH. And Universe Sideswipe. ( I didn't even see one).

I didn't bother picking up Monster High Venus and Robecca because I picked up both for $20 bucks the weekend before at the new Walmart in Amhurst for $19.99. But I was eyeballing the SDCC exclusive.

BTW. What was up with all the Sunny's stealing the spotlight from Prowl on the Universe packages?
