Re: moving with your collection.

I don't envy the day when I have to move my collection out of my parents place, since that will likely mean moving all my stuff off of Newfoundland to the mainland. That's going to be a fun experience.

Yeah I only have about 100 figures in my collection, but I will tell you, even moving that amount of figures took some doing, a lot of random boxes filled with tf's and old socks as cusion haha.

Re: moving with your collection.

I packed them in various cardboard boxes. Not too thick, layered in bubble wrap. Went 100 kilometers to the new place. Heaviest toys on the bottom.

But my collection was significantly smaller than what it is now. And at the time, I did not keep original boxes. I also dread the next "moving day."

Bubble wrap is the best choice. Hopefully you've kept all the wrap from online orders.

I wish all the luck to you in this move.

Re: moving with your collection.

I got a large 'under-the-bed' tote because it was nice and shallow.

Individually bubble-wrapped everything with small pieces placed in additional ziplock bags.

The usual, heavy on bottom, minimizing the amount of stacking although deluxes aren't usually that heavy. I liked this kind of tote because it's much longer/wider than the usual totes requires stacking.

My collection isn't too big so this worked out very well.

Good luck with moving!
