Universe/Henkei Prowl vs CW Prowl

So as the title suggests... Universe/Henkei Prowl vs CW Prowl. Which is better? (I already own the Takara Masterpiece Prowl - and until we get a Masterpiece Jazz, I want two at the approximate right size class.)

So enlighten me, good netizens of cybertron.ca which do you prefer? And why please.

Edited for TimCrook who needs photos. Photos are from TFWiki.

And his mold-mate Henkei Prowl:

Re: Universe/Henkei Prowl vs CW Prowl

I never liked the universe prowl mold, it never looked right to me. hopefully we get a bluestreak to go along with the smokescreen and prowl figures so we can have a gestalt with the datsun brothers and streetwise, haha. Seriously though, i just like the look and feel of the combiner wars Prowl, he has pretty decent articulation and transformation too. He has a far superior head sculpt than his universe version imo.-

Distinctive "Prowl" features:

Door wings. Classics +1 CW -1

Shoulder rockets. Classics +1 CW -1

Rifle gun. Classics +1 CW -1

Head sculpt. Classics and CW = even.

Flawless paint. Classics -1 CW +1

Nissan alt mode. Classics and CW = even.

Depends on what you expect in your Deluxe Prowl.

However, Masterpiece is the definitive Prowl, hands down.

I assumed people could look this up on tfwiki or owned both.

I completely agree with you, and as stated in my original post, I own him. However, until the day that we get an official Hasbro/Takara Jazz/Meister, I want a Prowl and Jazz that are in the same size class. I know this is Back to the Future day, did you go to the future and bring me back a Masterpiece Jazz? Pretty please?

Re: Universe/Henkei Prowl vs CW Prowl

Right now prefer Universe/Henkei version, because I want all three brothers. I don't own a CW Prowl and I have no plans on getting it, but I do think CW Prowl looks better from the photos I have seen online.

Henkei. Because it looks more like Prowl and isn't hampered by an unnecessary combining gimmick.

I like the classics. It's the closest to G1. I remember thinking when I first saw it, before I got back into collecting, and I thought it was so representative of the G1 toon.

Then a while later I saw Sideswipe and Sunstreaker at TRU on sale and it was game over. Got sucked right in.

Re: Universe/Henkei Prowl vs CW Prowl

I gotta go with Classics on all of the comparisons with CW Wave 4. The CW Wave 4 figures are weighed down on the fact that the figures weren't designed originally to be those characters, and that they are limited as they have to be an arm and a leg for a combiner.
