Re: Transformers quality control issues of 2011

not so much a q/c issue, more of a "fixed" issue, but it seems that the wfc bb in the tru exclusive 3pac had his knees fixed.
they haven't popped out once yet during transformation, meanwhile the original single release bb gets kneecapped everytime i transform him,but worse now over time and many transformations.

Re: Transformers quality control issues of 2011

Just opened up my DOTM Cyberverse Prime and Megatron playsets. Megatron was great, but Prime seems to be awfully stiff and fragile.

Just trying to carefully put him into alt mode a pin / post snapped off in the trailer (Fine for alt mode, but problem for base mode) and a piece of the waist ball for prime dropped off since he was so tight =( But that one shouldn't affect anything.

Seems like bad luck probably, got a gimp Prime set.

I'd vote "lemon" for that one, as I've got that set and the one I got seems fine - not too tight, not loose either.

Re: Transformers quality control issues of 2011

Didn't find anything for QUality Control Issues of 2012, and since the FE Entertainment Pack was initially released in December I guess I'll mention this here then.

My Megatron has a small chunk of him missing from one of his wings, it looks like the machine that punched out the piece went a bit too far and left a medium sized hole punched into the plastic. Specifically where the peg hole on the underside of the wing goes for pegging in, in vehicle mode.

I'm not too bothered by it, the figure is still excellent and I'm not about to return it just because of this minor flaw, like my other busted toys I shall use it for battle damage. I mean the functionality isn't disturbed, just the aesthetics of the figure.

Well about specialist Ratchet, the back piece falls off kinda easily on mine too, but it's cool because I took it off for a gun platform anyway. I doubt that was intentional, but its a good place for Bumblebee's weapon, and it's sort of my homage to the G1 toy that had a mini base.

Wow, your Megatron ended up really bad, the one I got from the set has a really loose right arm ball joint. Like he cant raise the fusion cannon and hold a pose, but I just tightened it with some tape, so its not too bad now.

It's all in the eye of the beholder, to me I'm just happy I got him and he functions as intended. So he's got a piece punched out of him, it isn't going to kill anything about him... With possible exception to the re-sale value.

The way I see it, some kid doesn't have a dud Megatron because I took it off the market.

You should post in the BC sightings thread & ask if anyone's Arcee has 2 left arms.

Shouldn't this be in the 2012 QC issue thread?
