IKEA has slightly larger glass cases as well. Did you check those out?

I took a look at the other cases on the Ikea website. This adventure is becoming a larger investment, let's say. Maybe a white Borgsjo. The advantage of the Detolf is of course that you can see the bots from all sides. It's either two Detolf for 160$, a Borgsjo for 155$ with limited display value or a bigger case for 200$+. Man, if only I was young enough to play with my toys all the time and forget them all over the place! Much less trouble...!

I use Ikea's Klingsbo cases for my collection. You get an extra shelf with these and they're made of a fairly sturdy metal. The only problem is that by gaining a shelf, you also lose height between shelves, so combiners can be a problem:
