Here's a Roadbuster WIP pic. Sanded down and filled in the bits I didnt like. He's got a rough "clean" paintjob. Added ball joints to the head and wrist. Hope to have everything together before starting the battle damage tomorrow.
This figure is a huge pain to paint. So many rub issues!

Oh wow! A++++++ all the way! I love how you took the extra step and filled the whole front to make it look less like Captain America. A++++ Kid!

Haha, that's front line infantry if I've ever seen it.

I figured I'd give a bit more of a better look at Recoil. I gave him a red optic to simulate the front of the eye being ripped off. The flash may have obscured it a bit but, only way to see the red in there.

Re: 2011 Cybertron.ca Canadian Fallen Heros Foundation Project Thread
I'm on the home stretch with Whirl! I don't think I'll get too heavy with battle damage on him, just some gashes and cracks on his windshield.
Trying to find ways to break up all the blue on him without overdoing it has proven to be a real challenge. I think I underestimated how much molded detail is on his legs.

Looking good Mal.
It's surprising how much detail the put into these new bots. Some panel lining or even a black wash can break up the color without too much work.

I think its safe to say that Whirl will be finished tomorrow. I'll try and have pics up late Friday or on Saturday.
