Re: Transformers you regret not buying

I regret passing on the classics Ultra Magnus/Skywarp pack while walking down the aisle at Walmart before i started collecting. Saw a plain white Magnus with no armor and thought that's stupid. I eventually got a KO magnus and FP city commander armour and will get the new, true MP Ultra Magnus

Other than the TRU MP grimlock many of us missed out on, the more recent one has to be first edition voyager optimus prime. Saw a stack of them but didn't pull the trigger. I would've been rich by now if I had bought all of them and sold them on ebay

One of the most painful scooped right before you moments was when I was a kid. When I was down in Chinatown with my dad shopping.

I asked him for $20 since my birthday was coming up so I could go to a tiny import story to pick up a the, I think, Diaclone gift set of Devastator I'd been eyeing forever. It could have been the Taiwanese KOs, I heard about, but regardless, it was not hasbro green. They were bright and rainbowie.

He hummed and hawwed for like 10 minutes, and when I finally got to the story, it was just in time to see some other kid pluck it off the shelf and go to the cashier with his dad. That was the only set.

That's a childhood scar.

Re: Transformers you regret not buying

I have no regrets in this department. I've learned never to pass up an opportunity. I have yet to find Prime Skyquake and Breakdown to complete the line but I haven't been looking too hard so I'm obviously not suffering from any form of regret.

Re: Transformers you regret not buying

definitely MP-11, MP-12 and MP-14 when I had the chance buy them from a Japanese online seller for cheaper price. At that time I didn't think I want another MP SS and I couldn't justify paying a Leader price for a deluxe size MP. Now I may have to pay double for the MP-12 and MP-14 reissue...

I regret not buying diaclone transformers when they were at a shop for 10.00.

Also I had the money but bought GI Joe Skystriker instead of Fortress Maximus

Re: Transformers you regret not buying

Honestly? Nothing.

Sure, there's plenty of things I've passed on that I would still like to own but nothing that I truly feel I need. There's always new and cool stuff coming out that eventually any regretful feelings I've had towards missing a TF gradually fades away.

Re: Transformers you regret not buying

MP Red Alert was, but I ended up getting one and the seller gave me a decent price since I buy from him a lot. MP Skywarp at walmart, I passed on him due to price, (I know he's not that much to get one now but now I'm holding out for MP11 ver.) The Skywarp/Magnus set for sure... But my biggest one right now is First Edition Bulkhead (And not importing Breakdown when he was cheaper)
