By the way, two questions...

1) Is it the Canadian Opening Sequence where the show was called Beasties? Or is it The US Opening Sequence?

2) Does it include all episodes of Season One or are any of them missing?

Bonus Question) When Alliance Atlantis released Beast Wars on VHS the episode Victory was edited to remove scenes featuring Black Arachnia and specifically a fight scene with her. Is that episode still edited or is this release fully intact from broadcast masters including the opening and closing credits for all twenty-six episodes?

The only way your going to get a wide screen version is if it's faked, which is going to look horrible. The original masters for Beast Wars and Beast Machines were made for full screen, a wide screen version does not exist, thus there never will be one, that info came from Mainframe back when Beast Machines was coming out on DVD.

Funny unrelated story, apparently they made Dragonball Z widescreen for the DVD release by chopping off the bottom and top bit's lol

It's definitly all 26 episodes. If that particualr BA scene is edited out or not I don't know and probably wont for a few days at least.

Anyone know if the Hamilton ON, Giant Tigers or Zellers have the he-man, she-ra and beast wars in? I've been looking forever for BW's, and need 1 volume of each of the others to make complete sets for my godchildren(and me)

I've started watching the DVD's and it's bringing back alot of memories. Its the US title sequence. The quality is the same as the Rhino version (which I owned at one time). There's no commercial break sequence either which is very nice, everything just flows nicely.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I went looking in Zellers & Giant Tiger in my area but couldn't track S1 BW down I did fing The Pink Panther 5disc classic collection for $9.99 and the She-ra S1 part 1 & 2 and S2. If anyone finds the Beastwars set and willing to sell, please get in touch with me

Found 1 at the GT on Victoria trail here in edmonton. It was the only one there. Had a sticker on it saying Target Exclusive. US import I guess.
