|
do any of you hang any jets from the ceiling?
so i've been thinking since i dont have a lot of shelf space going on right now that i might try hanging my dirge from the ceiling above the shelf using some hooks and some thread or something.... anyone do anything like this with any success?

No because I'd be too afraid of them falling to the floor or onto my shelves and breaking or knocking other stuff onto the floor.
I get anxiety just thinking about it.

I did with my GI Joe jets when I was a kid. Hooks form the ceiling with fishing line (20lb test) worked really well for me

I do with many of my Star wars jets. Hooks and fishing line work well.
Edit: Jets?

I've been known to hang Star Wars snub fighters from the ceiling, but I haven't done that with any Transformers yet.

Yeah, fishing line, just watch the weight. If you're just attaching the hook to the drywall it won't hold much weight.

I find the 3M tape hooks hold really well if you don't want to stab the ceiling (or can't due to material).
