The one order I had from Captured Prey has been good, teh couple from Robot Kingdom I think have been good - no customs on either.

BBTS I can't sit down for a week after every package... 20-40% customs fee every single time.

depends, i've had from $12-$30 depending om the order. also have a loyalty plan for additional money off after you've spent $1000 with them, it takes a bit longer to get to $1000 with them than most other retailers, but, all the better

ive spent a few grand at bbts over the years because they have cool things that NO other online dealer ive found has so ive bought A LOT from them but yup i would say as cybermonkey has. ive been hit with customs about 99% of the time. and it hurts bad.

i got hit one time for $40 on a $50 item and its always some weird amount that doesnt make any sense to me so i dont think there is really any rhyme or reason to the amount they decide to hit you with.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I was under the impression it was perhaps every once in a while since you can declare your orders as gifts on BBTS. Guess I was way off.

How about TFSource? Have any of you ordered from there and got dinged by customs?

I've always had good luck with HLJ.

I've had good luck in the past with HLJ except my two most recent shipments (w days ago and yesterday) got charged duties. First time ever for me actually. I was really surprised with the second one cause to total price was less than 50.00 while the first package was over 100. Guess the holiday season has customs going after as much as they can.
I'll be honest though, i'll still use HLJ and as for Canadian I will stick with Automaton.
