movie masterpiece prime wip w/trailer
i finally got around to taking pics of this guy.after just over a year of constantly being put to the side in favor of other projects, this guy finally got finished just before tfcon09.i did have him there with me on display, but if you were at tfcon this year, chances are that you were only able to see it all folded out/open,but not the neato graphic(imo )design i finally chose for the trailer sides.his trailer started life as a "buddy l" trailer. doing the custom electronics for this thing was such a pain in the ...but i like the end results.features are a spring loaded gripper claw,3 rapid fire missiles, spring opening canopy,13 flashing leds, diesel truck sounds x3,and a custom movie sword.the little roller shoots a missile, has 3 electronic sounds and has a articulated wrench hand.for primehimself,he's been drybrushed all over with tamiya silver and testors gold.on his left hand a new weapons port was added so that he can now attach a axe/staff to it.his right arm blade reuses half of the original swing out gun to mount it onto his arm and tucks into almost the same spot the old gun did when in truck mode.

Re: movie masterpiece prime wip w/trailer
looks good so far, either a g1 style trailer, or chrome with a fake shipping company logo on the side if you're going for realism

Re: movie masterpiece prime wip w/trailer
Here are my zany suggestions:
1. Weathering. Dry brushing some rust, dirt or mud would add realism.
2. Adding curled cables between the Cab and the Trailer.
3. Adding mudflaps behind some wheels, (might require a "sacrificial" toy truck that's the same scale though). Also, adding a picture or funny phrase/picture would be hilarious.
4. Adding a rack to store a huge rifle/bazooka would add more firepower, if you could somehow fit it into the trailer (or onto the side or top, think G2 Prime Truck mode with firepower). The rifle's gotta scream "Big F*ckin' Gun", something fit for Prime.
You could use those cables that connect btwn the cab and the trailer to attach to the rifle as a power supply.
Can't wait to see the finished product!

thanks for lookin.i kinda like the g2 theme you mentioned.there "is" mudflaps on it already,i just really suck at taking pics and theyre the same color as the rest of the trailer right now.for a side design i want to try to keep it minimal because i want the color shifting paint to be more dominant.im thinking "takara express" still lots more to do but too many things goin at once..hehehe..

This looks great! I really like the articulation on the claw arm. Please keep us updated on this!
