There will be a new Megatron sometime in the near(ish) future. They haven't announced it yet, but it will definitely be happening and will be in scale in with MP-10.

Slightly off topic but surprisingly I do. Not my MP version but my G1 version. I say that only because it would be rare (unless you leave him in the package) to actually display him in gun mode but some people do it

@wervenom, wow man, that's actually pretty damn nice! What an awesome way to do a presentation. I'm impressed. Goes to show, sometimes when you think something isn't so good, it's all in the delivery.
I had that Megatron when I was a kid. I still remember the day I begged my grandma to buy it for me.

MP Megatron will almost certainly be a gun. The trend thus far has been to be cartoon accurate and to include toy features when possible. Also, the upcoming leader class Generations Megatron will have the tank mode covered.

He will only be released as a gun in japan as the current gun laws here prohibit a release here, hence the reason we didn't see a reissue of G1 megs even with the stupid orange barrel plug as for the MP line I prefer the 01 version, the MP10 is nicer for accuracy but cheap in comparison to what the MP line was suppost to represent just as binaltec was far superior to the alternator line,.. the original concept for the mp line was HIGH QUALITY collectors grade toy not this substandard, smaller, qc riddled toy line thats now appearing give them another scale cutdown and they will be the reissue of the G1 toys "LOL"
