Re: Zellers Liquidation begins soon

It looks like the prices for the Zellers that are staying put are stabilizing.

The one near me at Jane and Finch has all it's TF's going back down to the normal, pre-shake-up, prices.

Re: Zellers Liquidation begins soon

So... they have less than 2 weeks left (supposed to close June 2) and yet many stores are still at 30-40% off toys, is that correct?

Sheesh. Those burning Fallens are just gonna FLY at that rate.

Re: Zellers Liquidation begins soon

The ones here in London are 50% off now, but even at those prices there's still nothing worth buying.

Rise of Cobra Air Vipers still aren't worth $13

Re: Zellers Liquidation begins soon

60% off at Waterloo Bridgeport and Kitchener Stanley Park.

Waterloo had some decent things -- Autobot Arks, 3 Target exclusive Starscreams, 3 Cyberverse Prime+Leadfoot, Cyberverse Bee+Megatron, and lots of DOTM Bumblebees. I picked up a HA Thunderhead -- the only HA -- for $5. Amazingly, no Burning Fallens or Legends 5 packs, and I know this store had a ton of the latter.

Decent for Kre-O Optimus and Megatron, but Sentinel is cheaper at TRU.

Kitchener was empty. I don't get why this store had so much less. Still had plenty of toys, but virtually no TFs. Only thing of note was a PRiD Cliff for around $10.

Re: Zellers Liquidation begins soon

Haven't been to Zellers for a while, figured I check out the Stoneroad location here in Guelph before it's gone. Big sign out front says 50% - 80% on everything. I figure for $10 I might actually pull the trigger on a Burning fallen. Get to the toy aisle and they have close to a dozen. Ticketed price still $39.99, so they are asking $20! Literally LOL'd and walked out. Only other TF related stuff was a bunch of ark playsets; again, the sale price is something like $20. Wow!

Re: Zellers Liquidation begins soon

Zellers in Kitchener are pretty much empty in general now, 70% off now. The one on Weber and Bridgeport had Kre-O's last week but as of yesterday, it's all gone, nothing of note to mention there. Ditto for the one on Stanley Park today,

Re: Zellers Liquidation begins soon

Wow apparently 50% off was the push for London residents, Westmount Zellers is almost barren.
