Thanks to the MP Starscream debacle of a few years back, I'm never quite feeling good about my chances to score the stuff I really want in store OR online. But at this price I would have thought he would shelfwarm like most of the other CW combiners did...we're not talking about original MP10 distribution here.

Still, I don't think he will be too tough to score in the coming months.

Oh, and just remind yourself of the price we paid for CW Devy not too long ago for the final kick to the gonads. No matter what, Hasbro are playing us like well tuned violins.

So... is the $229.99 price we're seeing for Predaking likely to fluctuate with TRU or other retailers that might carry it?


I can't remember what CW Devastator originally sold for vs. what I think were occasionally lowered prices at TRU.ca, so I have no idea how things usually play out for figures of this size and whatnot.

Find 2 friends who want it and use the buy 2 get 1 free Hasbro Summer coupon. This is the best deal for now. Or, you can wait until TRU put it on sale later when it becomes shelf-warmer.

If you really want one but couldn't find it at any Toronto TRU my brother told me he saw one at Silver Snail @ $234.XX.

Just put in my order. I never have luck tracking down these big items and the amount of gas I spend looking isn't worth it. I never saw trypticon, devastator or metroplex when hitting up Toy r us. Even now I had problems tracking down a full set of POTP abominus. Thankfully Eric from Madhaus set me up with the remaining 3.

My Predaking is set to arrive Tuesday. I'm very much looking forward to it. I've seen the pics and heard the complaints but I don't care, I'm still very much looking forward to this figure... these figures? The whole set.
