Re: Legacy Megazord

Hey All. If all goes well I am getting a pair of them tomorrow. MMPR is not really my thing but I got them cause I heard people on the board want em. Pulled some strings I have paid $80 each for them and will have them available for whomever wants them for either trade or first come first serve at the 80s Toy Expo.

Re: Legacy Megazord

The legacy Morpher is up for Pre-order on the Toys R Us USA website if anyone is looking for one.

They do ship internationally - not sure what the shipping would be like though.

I'd be shocked if we didn't get a Legacy Dragon Zord.

Find me ONE person who's interested in the Legacy Megazord but who's NOT interested in a Legacy Dragonzord, and I'll give you a cookie.

Though it's supposedly a whole new mold entirely when compared to the one released in '93; apparently the coins aren't compatible between the two versions.
thanks for the info!

Honestly, I'd be shocked if we DID get one. It's not in their playbook to do more than they already have. We would have gotten one back in 2010 if they were going to make one. Their best bet, IMO, at a Dragon Zord re-issue is a limited collectors re-release of the original Megazord and Dragonzord.

That said... I'd buy a Legacy version in a heartbeat. Or a re-issue.

Well, I know at least one person: me. I couldn't pass up the Megazord, since I never had one and it's one of my favourite transforming mecha designs of all time (up there with the Escaflowne and good old Optimus). But I never understood the appeal of the Megazord wearing the Dragonzord like a hat.

Do I get a cookie??

I agree that the hat was bad, but the dragonzord in battle mode was awesome!

no cookie for you

They can't do a re-issue of the original dinomegazord or dragonzord as the original molds were lost; that's why we got a new mold in 2010.

From all the boards I have read, it seems like that everyone wants a new dragonzord. I just hope Bandai is listening. If we got a new mmpr die-cast morpher, we might get a new dragonzord.
