I wish. More likely they're making room for PRiD.

Re: TRU Sale on DOTM HA Basics

Too late for TRU I already got Pinpointer and Whirl at Zellers (Whirl is mostly good for his kickass clip-on weapons)

and I got Dragstrip and Reverb from the US ><

Check out Loblaws/Superstore. They have HA Basic Waves 1, 2 and 3 for $9.98. That's where I got Dragstrip and Half-Track. And the one I went to had Deluxe HA Waves 1 and 2 for $14.88 and Voyager Waves 1 to 3 for $11.88. Very Sweet!

I'll be amazed if we see the later waves at TRU. I agree they're probably clearing them out for space.

Is Reverb worth tracking down from a US reseller? I doubt that will ever see the light of day here.

Re: TRU Sale on DOTM HA Basics

They can probably find it for 5 bucks & ship it to you for 3, so if you get it under 12 in total, you're basically finding it for less then retail where you live.

Also if you're a little more patient, just hunt around & try to find someone who has that + something else you want, in which case it'll be like you picked it up for super clearance.

Reverb has a kickass robot mode. The vehicle mode is a bit weird because of how the main turbine is placed (though you can mis-transform it if you want) but it works because of how exotic and silly it is. Kinda like a season 3 G1 character. That color is glorious too.

Re: TRU Sale on DOTM HA Basics

Just got back from the Kelowna TRU & this was being applied. The Autobot Ark set was also on sale for 20 dollars, although the reports of it being 4 bucks at Superstore will likely take precedence haha.

Really?

I mean Sandstorm is probably the best Human Alliance Basic period and I think Backfire gets too much praise for basically having a good weapon mode but his robot mode's lack of hands and narrow shoulders just make him look off...

But THUNDERHEAD being better than Icepick? Really? I know Icepick has silly clip on weapons but Thunderhead has useless hands and pretty weak alt modes.

The only time I saw Whirl was at Zellers. Also got Tailpipe w/ Pinpointer there. Whirl... Whirl has excellent weapons but he's really not that great IMO. Really stable with his giant ski feet though. I guess is weapon mode is great if you got someone with solid shoulders and well placed ports to hold him up.
