You paid WHAT for your room?
Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone has taken advantage of the TFCon deal for the hotel room or booked on their own? I checked it out in late April and saw that the rate for the TFCon block was $130. I've stayed there before and never paid that. So I went to the Double Tree site directly and booked a room for $92 (also did that in late April to save on the HST). Is there any special reason for paying the extra money? Like Tf fans being together in the same area?

Re: You paid WHAT for your room?
When I booked the hotel room for three of us months ago - I just booked on Doubletree directly. I thin for two nights, three people for a room it was about $190 or so after everything.

Re: You paid WHAT for your room?
Even though I live pretty close to the hotel already, I'm still thinking about booking a room at the hotel for the weekend...so I won't have to keep using bus fares and junk.Would this be a good idea?

It'd be a good idea as a place to store stuff during the event if your hands get too full

Re: You paid WHAT for your room?
I booked in the doubletree april 9th directly from them and the price had gone up to $110/night (king bed price I think), much higher than what I posted earlier which was $84/night

Re: You paid WHAT for your room?
Got my room back in January for $79/night. I'm not in the TFCon block of rooms, but that doesn't matter really.
