Possible Stupid Question About Dealer Room....?

Last convention I was at was botcon 97 in rochester way back in the day. For that I purchased quite a bit, but was allowed to wear my backpack into the dealer room, so I didn't have to carry all that stuff around the room.

My question is, is a backpack allowed in the Tfcon dealer room? I can see why it wouldn't be, theft and all that jazz, so I guess the question becomes, how does everyone walk around with all their stuff.

Say I buy a Scorponok and an Omega Supreme.....

One con I go to, Otafest, has a bag check so you don't bring your bag into the dealer room. The bigger con in the city, the Calgary Expo has an enormous dealer room and no bag check, lol.

It's not an issue, don't worry. PLENTY of people walk around with their backpack.

Not a dumb question at all. The same thing was actually drifting through my mind a few hours ago, as this'll be my first TFCon. Haven't been to a convention since Wizard World in Philly back in 2002-ish. Maybe 2003. Whatever the first two years they did it in Philadelphia were.

Yes that is true, unfortunately sometimes people seem to forget they have one strapped to their backs. Please if you are going to wear a backpack try to be mindful of others. I watched a poor kid get clocked last year.
