I was thinking the same thing, because that price makes no sense for little MP bumblebee.

What's interesting is this is the first actual Masterpiece Bumblebee. Takara's version was named Bumble.

Bumblebee has always been named Bumble in Japan just as Optimus Prime has always been named Convoy in Japan.

This will be a good price if the upcoming 30% discount also applies to this

Re: Hasbro Masterpiece Bumblebee spotted in Canada?

Ha, I bought two Takara Bumbles for the price of this and it included the coins and shipping.

My guess is that Volkswagon has increased the license fee to cover the cost of Dieselgate! LL

Yeah, the price!

No, it wouldn't. It would still be ludicrously overpriced even at 30% off. That's how insane this is. Even a "half off" price of $60 would be pushing it. If the domestic release isn't cheaper than importing the Japanese version, then it's completely pointless. So of course TRU decides to double the price of the original. Gotta admit their sheer lunacy is impressive. Can't wait for $400 MP Magnus next year.

The TRU mantra: Why buy from Japan when you can wait two years and pay twice the price?
