IDW's current take on Prowl. (Such a great fleshing out of the character and he is part of Devastator!!!!!)

Optimus Prime:
As a character
1) G1 - classic and timeless
2) Prime - surprisingly well done show and Optimus' agility and principles are spot on
3) Animated - Cullen isn't Optimus and that's A-OK thanks to a fresh and stylized take on the property and the character
As a toy
1) G1 - The "Alpha" of his plastic crack iterations...
2) Hasbro MP Optimus Prime (based on the Takara MP-10 mold) - the toy I dreamed of in the 80's
3) Takara MP-4 Convoy Perfect Edition - ...and the "Omega". G1 Optimus doesn't get any better than this, folks!

While I'm not that familiar with the character in the various animated series, Downshift has had some pretty cool toys:
1) G1 Omnibot (one of the mail-order figures)
2) Energon (Wheeljack's twin, separated at birth?)
3) Cybertron (lime green muscle car, baby!)

Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime.
1. Transformers The Movie 1986 voiced by Judd Nelson. Top tier. Unbeatable.
2. Transformers 2010 Story Pages/Manga Rodimus Convoy. Japan took him as serious business and a buff bad ass leader. A true successor to Convoy/Optimus Prime.
3. Animated Rodimus. Man that toy......... the peak of Animated's toy engineering.
