This ain't the 2010's anymore, though. If you want your best chance at something, a preorder is 100% the way to go. Especially for the high demand figures like the Dinobots.

Gamestop's cheaper and close to my place. So I'll either get it there or from Amazon for free shipping. I aint going out of my way to go pick it up at either of those 3 boutique stores.

No harm in pre-ordering from places like Hasbro Pulse, Amazon or anywhere else that doesn't even charge until the items actually ship. I'd absolutely recommend doing it to be extra safe, especially with Swoop here whose demand will be through the roof compared to the others.
I hope to get my copies from someone who will have stock way before September's release date, but I'm keeping all my pre-orders in place until I actually have this thing IN hand.

But you're pretty much driving all around the Montreal area on a daily basis in hope of finding something new at WM, TRU and what not... Maybe drive less and just make the occasional trip to those stores? What you think you save at Gamestop, you waste on fuel (I was doing that too). Just a thought.
