Yeah, I think when we're ready to raise kids we might have to move to the Island. But it will be really tough to leave Vancouver.
Heh, we don't have a car either but we make do. For most of our Ikea trips we either go with friends or ask my girlfriend's Mom to drive us. It's nice to have family around who are willing to help out like that.
The 4x4 'Expedit' (not Ikea, but same thing) is actually one of Elfsar's old bookcases. Remember that place? A shame they had to go. Anyway when they were closing down they were selling off the fixtures and I picked up one of the bookcases and a friend and I carted it from Yaletown to Burrard & Smithe on a skateboard.
In retrospect I kind of wish I'd bought one of the smaller ones they had to stack on top but I suppose then I'd have no room for Generations Metroplex.
Nice display, Victory Saber! I am envious of your namesake.
Merewyn, your display looks a lot like my main one, nice! Those cubby-type shelves are pretty great for TF displays. I ended up removing some of the dividers in mine for displaying the Neo G1 collection, because at some point those cubes just aren't big enough for large lines.
