Well not everything is hiked. I know the going rate of most toys like LEGO and they were definitely discounted at an alarming rate.

Yeah, I haven't noticed any price hikes around my parts.

It could happen though. Zellers did the same thing during their closeout run.

The target in my area never had stocked shelves, let alone any TF figures. Been inside a few times but always left empty handed. Im quite surprised they lasted as long as they did.

It's not target anymore, it's a liquidation company that owns all of the stock and fixtures in the target stores now. I think that This is the same liquidation group that took over stock from Zellers, they raise prices of many items so it looks like you are getting a deal when they say xx% off but you are often paying retail or a bit more on many items.

matrix is right as of last week target has not in control anymore... they may have the signs up but target is all but is gone now

Now all of a sudden, Target is packet and busy. They had to announce that their are closing in order to have more people going. Real smart

The Target at Centerpoint Mall (Yonge & Steeles, Toronto) is done. They're just selling off the fixtures now
