proportional groups

I was wondering which you guys consider to be the best screen accurate "main" charcters or which you consider to be best proportioned to each other of the groups? (must be hasbro/takara toys no third parties and can be any series)

EDIT: please be specific

Re: proportional groups

Proportion-wise, I'd have to give it to the TF: Prime toy lines. While there are still figures out of scale (Arcee, Starscream), most of them are reasonably scaled between Deluxe and Voyager.

For on-screen accuracy, it's a toss-up between Prime and the WFC/FoC segment of Generations.

Re: proportional groups

When it comes to an era where characters of the same design/body type didn't come in multiple scales (which started sparsely in Beast Machines and became more wide with Robots in Disguise);

I have to give it to Beast Wars, they did a damn good job. All the other lines today have so many price points and scales over the same designs that it would be unfair to include them.

Now if you excuse me Metroplex has to go toe to toe with Blaster in a battle to the death. (Scale be damned)

Re: proportional groups

Actually I was thinking TF Animated (although aided by various scales released), only exception being Bumblebee (which Hydrodive Bee nearly pulls off were it not for his nasty gold color).

Re: proportional groups

Blending lines can produce satisfying scale/proportionality results. For instance, mp seekers to g1 cars. My "dream team" consists of classics, prime, animated cars, animated seekers, shockwave, blitzwing, grimlock, animated activators cliffjumper & bumblebee, prime dreadwing, doc Soundwave and (sorry) toyworld hegemon.

within a line, the mps seem to be doing a good job lately.

Re: proportional groups

I'm with Protoman, Beast Wars all the way. With Prime being second.
