I will skip the general release (@ TRU) for sure. I am waiting for the Takara version (hopefully the Master Swords are included). I may get one from COSTCO, too, if there would be one later on with a significant discount.
I am also waiting to see the inevitable 3rd party weapons, etc. add on kits for this Fort. Max.

I saw the video reviews actually showing the fan mode, there's nothing to hold them in place, they do just flop around. Looks good in pictures of if you don't plan on touching the toy at all, but that set up is not very functional.

I have to agree with Pascal on the fan city mode. Most people wouldn't go and shake it in city mode, but I can honestly see bumping it while trying to set up a display or for those of us that do play with their Transformers, the fan mode could be more hassle than the look is worth. While it does look nice, it does not look stable enough.

You're comment makes no sense, settling for less? There's not going to be another fort max made again and it's has more playability than g1 with all of its added articulation.

Indeed, I think there won't be another Fort Maximus as big as this in the next 10 years.

The only exception is if it maketoys makes one as part of their citybot line, not official of course.
