Re: Fortess Maximus 2016

Agreed - we're getting screwed on pricing in Canada - I basically got the Takara version pre-ordered for about the same price as the Hasbro version from Ages 3 and Up.

Does the sound chip include voice clips? When Metroplex shipped, the Canadian version didn't have any of the voice clips, just sound effects.

Yes. Didn't get screwed on sounds here like we did Metroplex.

Meh. Makes it a bit more compact for display.

Granted, from behind it is hollow but face on, I kinda dig it.

I hope a 3rd party creates an upgrade kit for that one. Arm ramps that actually touch the ground like on the original would definitely be a huge plus.

As much as I like the fan mode city look, how is it for actual stability. I play with my TFs and I have a 4 and 5 year old that love playing with my toys and am not sure if I'd be farther ahead just using the proper city mode.

Not sure if it is a fan city mode, just one I tried myself. main difference is opening the legs to give more city look. It does give the ramps a stubby stature. I do agree that the ramps would be nicer had they extended.
As far as stability goes in this mode, you can wedge something under the knees to give better stability if you plan on playing. For myself, I don't use anything but as you can see, both Cosmos are there just fine. No rolling off or anything.
Probably better to use the actual base mode for playing. I dunno. Try a few things.
