Target Canada locations and their fate

As per Metroplex79's nomination to my suggestion in one of the other Target threads, I've compiled a list of what I can find of all (or most?) of the Target Canada locations, and what they will become (only the known ones).

White/default-color text is just a listing of the location; yellow-text is a known change in ownership. Depending how things turn out, I might color-code the new ownership lines, but we'll see.

I'll update this thread as we're given more information, so feel free to post links to articles or whatnot telling us what which Target location will become.

Wow thanks for posting this. I was wondering what was happening to the Guelph Target. Looks like two Walmarts in Guelph soon. I guess that's two chances at finding the latest toys in the wild.

Manitoba Grant Park is going to Canadian Tire.

Also you forgot the Manitoba Polo Park shopping centre brand new built by Target, Target building on your list.

I find it weird that Montreal's Place Alexis-Nihon location is getting bought by Canadian Tire. There's already a Canadian Tire in that mall, directly one floor above where the Target used to be. Are they moving or expanding?... Weird.

If there isn't enough proper space for a garage they might want to change for that reason. I don't know since I've never seen the place, but it sounds like it's on the second floor or something. Doesn't sound like a garage would exist in that case. Unless it's built differently.

I can think stores in Mississauga (Sheridanmall, ErinmillsTowncentre) and Toronto (Stockyards) not on that list. Seems stores open less than a year did not make that list. There must be more.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the original list that I was working off of was a little older, hence why the newer locations weren't there.

On the flipside, all websites seem to point to Target having had 133 locations in Canada, but my list is now at 134. So I might have one extra?
