I'm of two opinions here:

Fantasy
MP 09 Soundwave and tapes
MP10 Skyfire

Practical
MP 09 Galvatron
MP 10 Rodimus Prime

If they were ending at 10, then the above would tie the whole MP class together. Start with an Autobot leader, end with an Autobot leader

I really want the rest of the dinobots. and would LOVE to see sideswipe and sunstreaker and prowl etc.

we really do need some of the car bots.

I want all G1 in the MP series!!! But if I had to pick the next one, I'd go for Soundwave with his cassette army!!

I've noticed that the MP series hasn't used any official vehicle that would need to be licensed. Also, we have 4 releases that are Autobots and 4 that are decepticons even though prime cheesed off two releases on his own. Assuming they'd use real cars for the bots it could get really cool.

• 1st Autobot pick is Sideswipe as a Lamborghini Murcialago. Sunstreaker could reuse this mold with an exposed engine like the original Countach. 2nd would be Jazz as a 911 GT3.

• 1st Decepticon pick is Blitzwing. A triple changer would really kick up the MP series a notch. 2nd would be Soundwave...it's inevitable. They could reuse the mold for Soundblaster as well.

Since 2010 is almost here:

Down-to-earth picks:
-MP-09 Rodimus Convoy (MP-01black has Rodimus picture on one of its communicator, maybe it's a hint as many speculated).

-MP-10 Galvatron (indeed this character deserves a better figure then anything we've seen so far. Galvy is one of my top 5 favorite character in TF lore). Takara was able to pull Megatron as a gun(though oversized)...they can go the same path with Galvy and its cannon mode.

I'm-jumping-to-the-roof-and-fainting-right-after picks:
-ANY Gestalt Combiner would do the trick, but a MP Devastator would make history for sure.

-MP-Omega Supreme: I would be willing to shell twice the average retail price for a huge MP-Omega; even more if it has a decent base mode!
