I use Menke's Parcel Service out of Neche, North Dakota. It's free to use, BUT Menke's will not forward your parcels as it's your responsibility to pick up your items in a timely fashion. This is what helps keep the cost down significantly.

Infact, on one of my orders which exceeded $1000, I was only charged $14.00 USD, as they determine the charge not by weight, or even the number of boxes, but by the boxes dimensions.

Thankfully Winnipeg is about 45 minutes from the Canada/USA border, and just across the border in Neche, North Dakota is a privately owned parcel service called Menke's.

Basically, any item that isn't available to be shipped to Canada I can have shipped to Menke's, whom in turn charges me a very, very small fee for receiving and storing the item until it's picked up. In order to be able to ship to an American address however, I had to setup Menke's address as a secondary address on my VISA.

Then when I get the opprtunity to head down to the US of A for a day or even the weekend, I then take the time to pick up the items that I've ordered and I declare them myself on the way back into Canada.

For those of you in Manitoba: http://www.menkesparcel.com/

For the car fourm I'm with, a lot of us use a company called CanAm mailbox for car parts and whatnot. Its a company right across the Niagara border. You can ship it there for next to nothing or get your own mailbox if you want.

it is funny how hasbro sets this up. How come they don't have a storage in Canada. Why do'nt they expand more in the Hasbro Canada in order to sell more of their items?
Other than those, does it allow paypal for Canadian ?

Re: Hasbrotoyshop are out of their F@#%ing minds

I have never used the hasbro site however after reading the shipping costs this seems vary excessive (the shipping costs in the u.s. have risen to a stupid level anyways to ship here ) why can hasbro not provide a service from here don't they have a massive outlet in Longule Qubec, why do we as Canadians always seem to come up short here.... release of toys,... massive shipping costs (because the product comes from pawtucket) can not Hasbro help us out here? funny that its cheaper to buy retail then from there site.....

Re: Hasbrotoyshop are out of their F@#%ing minds

^^ That's whats so sad about the whole situation. It costs less to buy from retail like Toys R Us and Wal-Mart for us Canadian collectors than buying off the companies site.
