Re: Transformers Animated Episode 04 Official Discussion

Worked for me, a lot of "in jokes" in the episode.

Re: Transformers Animated Episode 04 Official Discussion

If anyone's interested, ep 6 is up on YTOutube now. Called Blast from the Past. Nothing more shall be said!

(under episode 5, broadcast order i guess, since the real 5, Total meltdown, was skipped.)

I have to admit that I've really enjoyed this incarnation of the Transformers story. I'm not the biggest fan of the art style, but the story thus far is very interesting. I also like the background story they've developed. Two thumbs up.

Re: Transformers Animated Episode 04 Official Discussion

I'm torn on the new series. In a way I love that there's new transformers series to watch. However, the animation is so terrible I find it hard to watch at some points. The stories are ok, but a little campy.

All in all I guess I'm just to old but when I watch the show from the 80's, you can tell it's not made for boys age 5-11. I think the reason the first shows were so good is the fact that there was little thought put into it, just get the show out to sell toys.

Now not that this show really has any other agenda than to sell toys, but thanks to marketing scum etc etc, we have a show that's been manufactured to apply to boys age 5-11. The reason the first show was so good was all the continuity errors and plot holes. It was just 30 min of non stop action every day at 4:30. Something to just lose yourself in after school.

So whatever, the show is what it is and I'll watch it. Just wish there wasn't so much thought put into cartoons these days. The cartoons of old were far superior.

Guess I am getting old.....

"Home is Where the Spark Is" was mediocre, I despise that Robin Hood Villain. He annoys the **** out of me!

If you didn't like Evil Robin Hood, and I do agree with you, I liked to know what you thought of Acid Man, or what ever the hell he's called in episode 05. You can post your thoughts in the Transformers Animated Episode 05 Official Discussion thread.
