KO Classics Cliffjumper upgrade kit?
KO Classics Cliffjumper upgrade kit
I missed on the original, but this could be a quick "inexpensive" fix... And since the fit for the guns on the original was apparently not that good according to some reports, maybe that issue has been fixed... Even if the plastic used is not super high quality, it might be worth it... It's not like I'm throwing my toys against the wall. Same seller also sells repro guns for CR Brave Maximus...

Re: KO Classics Cliffjumper upgrade kit?
Its a fake. The molding job looks bad on the gun. So if you heard the original had some issue, I would guess this one is the same or worse. And yeah, since this is bootlegging fan's work, its pretty sad, since this guy has not limit on how many he wants to make. And at $90, hes in it just for the money, not to help out fans who want this, considering FansProject set the price at $30 when these were being sold.
By the way, FansProject is aware of this bootleg now. So I would hold off trying to get it at this time, in case they decided to reissue the original or something. Since an official reissue would be a lot cheaper than this, if they did do one. But don't get your hopes up, they always have said "no" before.

I don't know, I'd be tempted to think the gun fit would be better as recasts tend to expand compared to originals (usually ending in a poor fit when it comes to moveable parts)... I'd rather get the original if I could find one, but since it's unlikely...

One just sold on Ebay today from a seller in Vancouver for 203.88.
I was wondering how long it would take for a bootleg of this to pop up. The kit tends to sell for around $180 to $300, so that's a big profit margin for someone to make from bootlegs.
There seems to be a demand for it again. Fansproject should do a poll or a pre-order list to determine the demand for a re-issue.
I'd love to get my hands on it myself, but even at $90 for a bootleg, it's still pretty steep for a few parts.
Cheers!

I lucked out when I got mine for $137. It was expensive, but nothing like the $300+ range ones that some went for.
