Personally, at the price point and the lackluster transformation, it's a skip for me. I mean army building the KO legends size insecticons is my cup of tea.

I'm personally going to wait until GameStop gets my preorders in so that I can get the 15% Edge discount. $43 is highway robbery for a deluxe class figure.

I was excited to see that, when signed in, the edge discount now applies online. I preordered a few and it was already applied! Only took them til 2022 to get slightly with the times...

For me, it's not a character that I know so it's the kind of toy that I'll consider only if on sale.

Or maybe this market is finally too saturated? Like collectors got their Kickback from another edition and aren't willing to pay $36 + taxes for a new edition.

Beside, I'm keeping my money for the Lego Optimus Prime.

That's what I was thinking.

I think it has to do with increased inflation, sky rocketing gas prices chewing up disposable income. Couple that with increased prices from hasbro while also reducing what those prices give and you created a situation where its very easy to pass on figures.

Since WFC did so well distributors will be ordering the next similar line (legacy) in masse hoping it will be just as successful. They mentioned in the Fan First friday that the purchase order requests were higher for legacy than WFC... and its in Hasbro financial interest to provide less value while flying on the back of a successful toyline.

Re: Walmart.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion

Does anyone find shopping at Walmart difficult? More often than not there isn't a price listed so I have no idea what the in-store price is. The problem is even worse for Lego which doesnt use pegs to store the product.

I'm legit asking for tips, because I don't want to have to chase down an associate or carry a bunch of product up to the self checkout just to find the price.

I would try to find one of those price check scanner things if stores have them there. Only tip I can think of. Seems like they must be having staffing issues if they can't even label the shelves.

Download the walmart app and you can scan the barcode off the item.
