Re: Leading bidder on eBay
It's part of its petsonal collection, so it's probably been chewed by a dog or something.

Re: Leading bidder on eBay
EBay bidding is simple. Put in the max you are willing to pay for an item and then walk away. You can't get sniped if you do that. You lost bc someone was willing to bid more than you were comfortable paying for l.

Re: Leading bidder on eBay
Well, it's all a matter of how desperate you are to have the item vs. how much you want to pay for it. The latter seems to trump things when for some people, the maximum bid they put in has been exceeded and people are still bidding with minutes or seconds to spare on the clock. They get desperate and go over their max bid to secure the item, and if they win, do they feel buyer's remorse for possibly paying much more than they wanted? Who knows? I daresay there's still some degree of ethical and moral grayness where auction sniping is concerned though.

Re: Leading bidder on eBay
For me, go ahead snipe away how ever you want, bot, no bot. It doesn't matter to me. I place my bid as near to the end of the auction as possible, set my max, and if someone beats it, well, that's life.

Re: Leading bidder on eBay
I've been outbid with 1 hour left. Do I wait at the last minute? Does eBay let me increase my bid 1 minute before the auctions closes?

Re: Leading bidder on eBay
Do I do it now? Or wait at the last second?
