Sorry, I meant the Movie 2 Voyager mold...unless it is the same as Movie 1...I don't own a Movie 1 Voyager.

Re: Quick review: HFTD Voyager Battle Blades Optimus Prime
I skipped out on the slight repaint of Voy. Prime so this one will be a welcomed addition to my collection. Now Voy. Megatron has a play buddy.

Re: Quick review: HFTD Voyager Battle Blades Optimus Prime
Just a bit of an update... Talking to Peaugh, he found another very useful feature to get rid of the problem of pulling the head out without dislodging the matrix : the entire rear cab assembly actually swings out (it's hinged at the bottom) to perfectly clear the way for the head and the matrix. Brilliant!

Re: Quick review: HFTD Voyager Battle Blades Optimus Prime
Could you try to compare the new Prime with Leader Jetfire and "try" to combine both? Because I thought I want to customize both into a more accurate Voyager Jet-Powered Optimus Prime...

Battle Blades, at least for me. First Strike (or all other versions) is both physically and aesthetically inaccurate. But being more simple, he may be a better and less frustrating toy than Battle Blades who is quite complex. Depends on what you're looking for in a toy, really.

Re: Quick review: HFTD Voyager Battle Blades Optimus Prime
Finally got this toy, having pretty much EVER Movie Prime up to this point I can honestly say this is the most solid one.
- Removable Matrix of Leadership (Nuff Fucken Said!)
- Easier transformation for casual play
- Swords AND guns, pick your poison
- Amazing details
Dare I say... the best movie Prime YET... but you know how that is... NEXT!
