Theres a few Takara exclusive toys this year like Unicron of Light, so I am not too surprised that they still have stuff Hasbro wont get.
That toy doesnt fit with anythign Hasbro is putting out, too big for Studio Series and not simplified or gimicky like the rest of the BB line.
