It is possibly the exact same toy with a new box. Although it may seem unnecessary we are all familiar with how retailers tend to under stock or completely abandon the final waves of the series. The inclusion of astrotrain in the earth rise packaging is more fitting in my opinion due to the earth-based vehicle mode. As always we have options and options are good
