Two ways:
1. If the Amazon sale occurs during Toys R Us business hours, the easiest way is walk into the store with the ad and have the price match apply directly. Or,
2. If online:
---- 1) take an Amazon screen shot with a time stamp (see attached) that matches the time you placed the online Toys R Us order (at full/discount price).
---- 2) Once you have an order number, call 1-800-ToysRUs (1-800-869-7787) to have the price match. They'll manually check Amazon or request that you send them documentation if the sale is no longer on (which was the case for me).
---- 3) Send them the screen shot if necessary (see step 2). They'll issue you a partial refund to cover the cost difference a few days later.
Toys R Us has an online price match tool on the website for online orders (
