Nailed it. If you look at a screenshot......ANY screenshot....of G1 cartoon Megatron, it's not Despotron. Mightron is the closest, and I've yet to see any G1 cartoon image to prove otherwise.
Despotron looks amazing. Has a brilliant transformation. But he's not the most cartoon-accurate Megatron. He's a re-visited Megatron. An interpretation. And for a lot of collectors, that is exactly what they want.
But me? I want Mightron, and I'm glad I have him.
