Ugh, EB shipped my SS86 Hot Rod via Purolator. Purolator made no attempt to deliver it, and instead their driver dropped it at a depot halfway across town and they've told me to fetch it myself.
- No attempted delivery: they freely admitted to that in the CS chat, tracking info says same, plus no notice on my door, plus my door has a prominent Purolator dropoff barcode sticker on the door.
- No problem with the address on the package (CS confirmed)
- They sent me a text saying "go get it yourself" but didn't tell me where (there are multiple depot places in town).
- Their "virtual assistant" website bot had no record of where to pick it up.
Took a half hour CS chat to get the address of the depot. No apology was given.
It's like they aren't even trying to be a courier service. I'd tell my work we should avoid them except they already do, like the plague.
I wonder if I can give EB some feedback to consider in their choice of shipping partners.
Of course, Purolator is still better than Pitney "what package?" Bowes.
