Binge watching The Clone Wars (thanks to NETFILX) and I like what I see and feel though I still pefer the Cartoon Network microseries from 10 (!?) years ago.
The Prequels and The Clone Wars will always be a "suggested past" to me though. Just like everything after
Terminator 2: Judgement Day did not actually happen. Or how only
Alien and
Aliens suits me just fine.
I guess when it comes to resisting the canonized prequels and cartoons you can't win, but there are alternatives to fighting, like picking and choosing what you really do believe in from the rich history of the franchise.
