I too bought him because he was supposed to be rare and I too still have him in the package cuase i just can't bare to open him. I guess must know somethng that others do not...
As for me, I have been influanced as far as when I buy a figure. I will usually buy every mold eventually, but depending on the hype of a figure I may get it sooner than later. I hve stayed clear of the g1 re-issues thus far though....
