Re: Your wishlist for the new G1 reissue line

I'd love to see all G1 I want being reissued but frankly I don't think most of the stuffs mentioned here will be done. At most Hasbro will rerelease anything that have been reissued in the past in Japan and N. America, unless Takara decided to do some new things for the G1 Encore line. Hasbro alone will not be going to invest in any new mold for G1 reissues or else it could have been done already. So, yes, we can hope for things that were not officially released here like G1 Metroplex, Omega Supreme, Sky Lynx, Fortress Maximus, etc. which were done before for the Japanese market. I doubt very much that we will see Dinobots, Mirage, etc. As for Jetfire it is from the Macross line and I don't think Hasbro can get the permission to use the mold again from Bandai, or if that mold is still exists (even Bandai Spirits have invested on a new mold for their upcoming 1/48 VF-1J DX Chogokin).

As the demand from fans, it is not a sure thing. Look at all those G1 reissues ftom the past that were warming the shelves at TRU and Walmart. I don't think Hasbro will release anything that are not the usual suspects. And people are already complaining about the pricing of these Walmart G1 exclusives. How much do you think a new G1 Metroplex will be? These will warm the shelves forever. For all of us who screamed "I am in!", how many of us will actually follow through? I would say not many.
