Re: Has anyone checked out this new Transformers reviewer?
So, I watched the Skids review to see what she's all about. I'd say the biggest strength she has is in the post production aspect. The introduction sequence, in particular, seemed quite well done.
But, in my opinion, she doesn't bring anything new to the table otherwise. I'm not sure if it was the way she presented herself while describing the figure, or the fact that there seemed to be a cut in the video every few seconds (the fact that the audio didn't seem choppy is a credit to her, or whomever edits the videos). Some of that stuff could improve with time and experience, so maybe I'll come back to the channel in a few months to see if anything has changed.
Peaugh and Vangelus are still my gold standards when it comes to video reviewers.
As for her extraneous activities - well, she's definitely not the first Transformers fan to do this, so I'm not that surprised/shocked.
