Heres a build post for my Optimus rifle. It's 4 feet long and 100% scratchbuilt. It took about 3 years to build. Not straight through obviously lol, maybe a year of solid work. The core is just plumbing tube and alot of other bits are MDF and all sorts of stuff I laid out on the floor and picked what looked right lol. The cube was made from a photo cube from Michaels and theres even a butchered Gobot in the gun just for fun lol. Of course a project like this is never done so I'm adding more details and lights and building a retractable glass display case or something. My next project is a 3 Foot tall Ironhide motorized gatling gun which will have fluid inside and all sorts of moving parts. Ill start that thread after I get a good round up of stuff that I'll start work with. Thanks for looking.
